Friendly, gentle, sociable and smiling. A joyful, people-loving pack dog that is famously affectionate and rarely aggressive.
Trainability — Moderate — intelligent but independent and a little stubborn; positive, engaging training needed.
Grooming — Very high. Daily brushing of the dense double coat; heavy seasonal shedding ('blowing coat'). Never shave to skin.
Good with — Excellent with children, families and other dogs. A sociable companion that hates being left alone.
A true Arctic breed — the heaviest-coated dog on your list. Indian heat is a serious challenge: strict AC, shade, water, cool-hour exercise and constant coat care are mandatory.
